English Country Manor
Piney Point Village, TX
This home’s garden underwent a complete transformation. The owners built the home in 1990 for their growing family but once becoming empty nesters it was decided to update their beloved home with British flair. The garden’s pool was relocated away from the house to create a courtyard. Plantings reminiscent of those seen in Great Britain were installed. Oak and holly trees reinforce the English garden idea and boxwood-bordered perennial planting masses reflect the early 19th-century gardens of Gertrude Jekyll.
